Lanvin Marketplace does not directly participate in commercial transactions between sellers and buyers. Sellers and buyers connect directly with each other and conduct purchases or sales using their own payment systems. Our platform acts solely as an intermediary to introduce reliable, verified products to buyers, ensuring they are not defrauded or deceived in their purchases.

2. Obligations of Sellers

Sellers must use accurate and verifiable contact information when registering on our platform. We verify this contact information, and it is shared with customers (buyers) in connection with their commercial activities. Sellers are fully responsible for the accuracy of all product listings and descriptions published on our platform.

3. Product Verification System

To ensure the quality of products listed on our platform, we have established a verification system. Sellers must provide the necessary information accurately and in compliance with applicable regulations. Upon request from sellers, we inspect the quality of listed products using the necessary facilities and equipment, and attach a verification badge to products that pass our inspection. This badge serves as confirmation of product quality and builds buyer trust. Where necessary, we may also guarantee the reliability of trusted sellers through KYC (Know Your Customer) verification.

4. Verification Fees

For the verification process and quality assurance services described above, we will charge sellers the applicable fees. Fee schedules will be communicated to sellers prior to the commencement of any verification activity.

5. Seller Liability & Legal Action

Sellers must thoroughly guarantee all products they list on our platform. We will verify the accuracy of product descriptions. If the actual quality of a product is found to differ materially from its listed description, we reserve the right to file legal action against the responsible seller. Sellers should use our platform only if they accept and agree to this condition.

6. Scope of Our Responsibility

We are solely responsible for the quality assurance represented by the verification badge attached to products on our platform. Buyers acknowledge that products without a verification badge have not undergone our quality inspection process. Buyers cannot raise concerns to us regarding purchases made for products that do not carry our verification badge.
